Bikify Us

Bikify Us is an award-winning innovative solution to promote cycling and develop local communities.

Bikify Us is centered on a mobile app that rewards people for cycling. The benefits of cycling are evident: cyclists themselves stay fit and healthy, and move conveniently, especially in urban settings. Other stakeholders benefit as well from this activity, for example Municipalities, who can obtain a reduction in traffic and pollution, a decreased need for car parking spaces, and an improved city image as green and eco-friendly.

The Trivsa team, with the Bikify Us project, has won the Stockholm Startup Weekend 2014 Health & Wellness Edition competition, and has graduated from the Stockholm Innovation and Growth (STING) Startup ICT pre- accelerator program.

Breeze

Breeze offers cloud-based and data-driven environmental sensor networks that generate actionable insights to help improve human health and productivity.

As their MVP, Breeze developed air quality sensors. Breeze streams data gathered from these sensors into a centralized cloud solution and uses smart algorithms to generate actionable insights about buildings, cities and communities. Together with partners, Breeze can help create a healthier workspace and environment. Breeze also has a marketplace where it can direct its customers to purchase products based on the insights generated. Breeze is currently offered in Germany but has plans to expand into Asia and the rest of Europe over the next year.

DocPointer

Huge structural elements on site needs a continuous reporting. Every detail, like a welding seam or a bore hole has to be cleared by an inspector or authorized person. Without clearance no structural element can be licensed to operate. The reporting has to clearly indicate the nominated subject and has to fulfil high legal requirements. Inspection procedures generate a high amount of data and reports (e.g. e-mails, photos, markings, documents, revision instructions), which are very difficult to manage.

The organization, handling and research of reports is time-consuming, expensive and error prone. The DocPointer simplifies the management of the deposition in a data base and the generated reports on site by allocating reports automatically in a secure database and provides a legal documentation history for auditing purposes. The process economizes time and reduces failures.

The DocPointer reduces production time, particularly the final approval of construction work. The application spectrum of the DocPointer is manifold (e.g. bridge construction, ship building, high-rise building). In this project the DocPointer uses the example of an offshore windfarm grounding. The erection of wind power stations (Tripods) requires very high legal efforts (comparable to marine technology). The reduction of production time saves thousands of Euros.

LuminGo-Smart Back-up

In developing countries, unreliable grids and power generations generate frequent power outages when the power production does not meet the demand.

Our Smart Grid system integrates individual back-up power in the overall grid management, offering a new level of control to the grid operator. The system architecture includes:

  • A network of Smart Batteries installed at customers’ premises which are loaded during off-peak periods. The battery will serve as a back-up providing electricity during peak hours and during power outages.
  • A Monitoring System based on individual meters and control systems (Power Management Units) sending and receiving information via GSM network to a firewall.
  • A Grid Management Software gives to the grid operator new possibilities to manage the grid by monitoring the state of the batteries and controlling the power supply of individual consumers.

The software includes a Power Outage Management function that enables the grid operators to instantly detect and locate power outages on the low voltage lines.
Our Grid Management software will be used by electricity distribution companies as an additional layer of control to the existing SCADA system.

SENS-O-COPTER

SENS-O-COPTER is a long endurance UAV (Unmanned aerial vehicle, Multicopter) designed to acquire and deliver multiple sensory data in situations and areas where manned inspection is too costly, dangerous or even not possible. The UAV and the sensor-unit are based on open-source Hard- and Software to keep the development time low and to benefit from proven designs. The system will be tailored to our special needs: rain and snow resistant, long endurance, flight time up to 90 min, long range, up to 50km (one way). The gathered data (temperature, air pressure, altitude, GPS position, air quality, hydrogen sulphide, magnetic field, UV-, visible-, NIR- and IR-camera, radioactive level) will be sent over WLAN/LTE into the cloud to store the data. The user can use a web interface to display the processed data (combined with GPS/Time) on a map. Possible applications: Environmental monitoring, air quality, emissions, contaminated areas, radioactive levels, gas leakages, civil protection, weather data, volcano research, natural disaster, mobile network signal strength, quality control, documentation purposes.

swocket

swocket is smart energy management with the Internet of Things. The solution consists of an internet connected plug and a corresponding app. With swocket, existing devices become smart: Your washing machine can notify you when your laundry is done. You can have devices switch on and off automatically when you come home or leave. Also, swocket lets you monitor your electricity consumption and gives you recommendations on how to save energy.

The focus of swocket is usability (we call it “mom-proof”) and affordability.

We are a diverse and creative team of three with each of us experienced in one of the areas hardware development, business and software development. We love to use our problem-solving skills to make the planet a better place.

SunnyRev

SUNNYREV will be the first Marketplace for Solar Rooftops. It will eliminate the transaction inefficiencies in the traditional trade process of Solar Power Purchase Agreements (SPPA) and Solar Leases (SL), enabling a win-win condition both for Solar Services Providers and for Rooftop Owners.

SPPA and SL are contracts between a “Solar Services Provider” who owns, utilizes, and maintains the photovoltaic project, and a “Rooftop Owner” who delivers a designated location for the solar installation such as an unutilized rooftop.

In a SPPA, the Rooftop Owner agrees to purchase the energy output from the developer at a fixed price for a prearranged time period. In a Solar Lease, instead, the Rooftop Owner rents the solar equipment against a monthly remittance. In either cases, the Rooftop Owner is able to slash down his energy expenses drastically and notice long-term savings as current grid-electricity prices continue to increase. The Solar Services Provider pays for all the installation costs and is held responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project.

With SunnyRev, Rooftop Owners will be able to minimize the solar rate and maximize their savings by putting Producers in competition for their rooftops with a reverse auction mechanism. Bidding performed in real-time via the Internet will result in a dynamic, competitive process. This will help achieve rapid downward price pressure (energy price or lease remittance, depending of the case) that is not normally attainable using traditional static paper-based bidding processes. At the same time, Producers will reduce costs and timing for acquiring new clients.
